TPR016C - MSD Coil Kit for TPR Billet Valve Cover - Pro XP / Turbo R

This MSD Performance Coil Kit is designed specifically for the Pro XP and Turbo R models. It is compatible with the TPR016 Billet Valve cover and includes the following components:

• Wire Harness
• MSD Coils
• Ignition Code Dwell Table

When using MSD coil kits, some users may experience a cold start ignition code, which is attributed to variations in ignition dwell timing maps in aftermarket tuners. However, this issue can be easily resolved. We have developed a new ignition dwell map that addresses this problem, and any shop with access to your tune can readily load this new dwell table into your machine.

For Polaris MSD ignition dwell table running stock ECU with tuner, the following dwell timings are recommended:

• 7 volt - 8.3 ms
• 8 volt - 5.8 ms
• 10 volt - 3.4 ms
• 12 volt - 2.25 ms
• 14 volt - 1.75 ms
• 16 volt - 1.5 ms
• 18 volt - 1.3 ms

Furthermore, for aftermarket ECU and drivers, a maximum dwell of 3.4 ms @14V is recommended, with the option to increase or decrease by 0.2 to 0.4 ms per volt, up to a maximum of 4.2 ms.

It's important to note that this kit is not compatible with the stock valve cover.
