Tie rods are made from 7/8" steel tubing with 8" sidewalls for extreme strength. They use a flared-out design to boost strength even more. These Xpedition tie rods are built tough enough to take on anything.

The biggest weak spot on any Xpedition's steering system is the tie rod end. That's why our hardened steel monoball tie rod ends are beefed up to handle bigger tires and tougher obstacles. They're made from black-zinc-coated chromoly steel and use huge M14 threads for the strength to get you through any adventure.
