R1 Industries Warranty Information
At R1, we build our gear so that you won't have to use our warranty — but just in case you do, we offer one of the best warranties in the industry. We provide a non-transferable lifetime warranty that covers just about everything. This warranty is designed to protect both R1 Industries and our customers.
R1 Industries Wildcat Extreme Whips Lifetime Warranty
At R1 Industries, we stand behind the quality and performance of our Wildcat Extreme Whips. Every whip is backed by our No Questions Asked Lifetime Warranty for the original owner. Our goal is to make the process simple, fair, and transparent — while protecting the integrity of our products and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
How to Start a Warranty Claim
- Email support@r1industriesoffroad.com to request a warranty form.
- Print and include the completed form with the defective whips you are exchanging.
- Ship your items to the address listed on the warranty form, or bring them directly to our UTV shop in Lindon, Utah.
Important:
- Customers are responsible for all shipping costs to and from R1 Industries.
- Once your warranty has been inspected and approved, we will contact you to collect payment for the $49.95 handling and return shipping fee.
- No exceptions will be made to this fee.
Warranty Coverage
- Manufacturer defects (e.g., internal LED failure, power supply issues, or sealed connection problems).
- Normal wear and tear from regular off-road use.
- Structural breakage of the whip shaft caused by normal trail or dune riding.
If your whip fails or breaks under these conditions, we’ll repair or replace it promptly after inspection.
Exclusions

Lost or stolen whips: If a whip breaks off and is lost, it will be charged at full retail price.
4 Foot Whip: $145
3 Foot Whip: $125
Flags are not included under warranty. - Cosmetic damage that does not affect whip performance.
- Improper installation, misuse, or neglect.
- Modified or altered products, including:
- Cutting or shortening the whip.
- Cutting or altering the whip wiring or harness.
Whip Upgrades
If a specific whip model or style has been discontinued and is no longer manufactured, R1 Industries offers customers the opportunity to upgrade to a newer model at a discounted rate of 25% off full retail price.
This ensures that you can continue enjoying the latest designs and technology from R1 even if your original whip style is no longer available.
Upgrade Policy Details:
- Upgrades apply only when the original whip model has been discontinued or replaced by a newer design.
- Customers will be offered the most comparable or superior model available.
- The upgrade discount is 25% off the current retail price of the new model.
- No handling or shipping fees applies to upgrades.
- Upgrades must be of equal or greater value than the original product.
- No refunds, credits, or substitutions will be provided for discontinued products.
- All upgrades are subject to product availability at the time of the claim.
Non-Transferable Warranty
This lifetime warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. It is designed to provide peace of mind for as long as you own your R1 Industries Wildcat Extreme Whips.
If your R1 whips were installed by a dealership, please mention this when submitting your warranty claim.
Processing Time
Please allow 2–3 weeks for processing once we receive your damaged whips. Processing time may vary based on the season and current workload.
Additional Terms
- Include only the items listed on your warranty form. Extra parts or accessories will not be returned.
- Warranties are handled in the order received. Expedited shipping is available at the customer’s expense once the warranty is processed.
- If warranting only one whip from a pair, both whips must be submitted to ensure proper color and brightness matching.
Our Promise
Our warranty is meant to protect genuine customers, not to replace products for reasons outside of normal use. We believe in building products that last — and standing behind them when they don’t.
Chances are, you won’t need your warranty. But if you do, R1 Industries will make it as smooth and straightforward as possible.
Windshields
While rare, due to the nature of glass, windshields may crack during shipping, despite our best efforts to package them effectively. In these instances, please call or email us for assistance. We will cover up to $225 for repair work done at a pre-approved glass shop for Dirt Warrior Accessories windshields. Other windshield brands are handled on a case-by-case basis.
We are unable to provide assistance if action is taken without notifying us first.
Refusal to accept packages for any reason, including damage, may result in excess shipping costs, covered by the refusing party. Pictures may be requested to document damage and repairs. Costs covered will be reimbursed after work has been completed. Email: support@r1industriesoffroad.com.
All Other R1 Industries Products
R1 backs all our R1-manufactured products with a 30-day warranty (with the exception of fiberglass poles). This warranty covers material workmanship and manufacturer defects. Items that have been modified in any way void this warranty.* This warranty does not cover accidents, theft, operator negligence, or acts of nature.
R1 will warranty R1-manufactured products within the first 30 days.* After 30 days, contact us for replacement options.
If your product is no longer stocked or has been discontinued, you will be offered a replacement option. A replacement fee may be assessed if the item has been significantly upgraded.
To submit an R1 warranty claim, please email support@r1industriesoffroad.com and we will send you a warranty form. Once you receive the form, please mail the product back with the warranty form to the address listed on the form.
*Modifications include but are not limited to: cutting wires, changing original wiring setup, damage due to improper installation, running oversize flags, modification of the product in any way, cutting wiring harness, damage caused by negligence, or item being used outside of the intended or advertised purposes.
If an item is sent back without our warranty form, we will not warranty the product until we receive the form. We cannot warranty any product without receiving your defective item first. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs unless otherwise informed by R1 Industries.
