Steel Helical Threads Won't Wallow OutWe've beefed up our differential case by using steel helical inserts in the mounting threads. These inserts make it virtually impossible for the mounting bolts to wallow out or pull out over time.
Beefier Mounting PointsWe also added material to the mounting locations. The additional material ensures that this diff won't break off the frame. The OEM diff has feet-like mounting locations, while ours mounts to a single block built into the body of the differential.
Thicker Pinion Gear TubeWe also thickened the pinion gear tube to make sure it can stand up to every bump, jar, and torque load. Plus, we make it easy on you. We use a bolt-on cap to retain the pinion bearing instead of a snap ring. That means you can service your pinion gear without destroying your seal.
Hob-Cut Gears Are Super SmoothWe put hardened hob-cut gears in our Polaris General XP 1000 front differential. Why does that matter? Hobbed gears mate precisely to ensure your front diff runs with little noise and vibration. That means a more pleasant ride for you and better durability for your diff.
Stronger ComponentsWe use 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum for our sprague carrier to give maximum strength and durability. That means our differential can endure ride after ride of hard differential lock engagements without failingwhich also means you won't have to worry about getting a replacement anytime soon. With tougher gears and other parts, we have drastically improved the components prone to failure and wrapped them in a stronger case.
