Big-wheel floor jacks and shop jacks

• Talon: a 1.5-ton big-wheel floor jack. Review its product options and included extension before ordering.
• The Beast: a 2-ton big-wheel floor jack.
• Kratos: a 3-ton big-wheel floor jack. Its listed minimum height is 6 inches without an extension; the jack weighs 68 pounds.
• Abrams: a 3-ton shop jack with a listed 4-inch starting height and 20-inch standard extended height. An extension is not included.

Phoenix DS or Phoenix DS Trail Kit?

The Phoenix DS CO2 air jack uses a dual-stage design with an 8.5-inch retracted height and a 17-inch extended height. Its listed package includes a storage case, regulator and three 33g CO2 cartridges.

The Phoenix DS Trail Kit packages the DS jack with a Pelican Vault case, Power Shot Trigger Upgrade Kit and a 20-ounce CO2 bottle. The bottle ships empty, so this is a different supply setup—not simply a larger carrying case.

Choosing an extension

The Pro Eagle jack extension comes in two lengths: the 8-inch version adjusts from 5 to 8 inches; the 15-inch version adjusts from 10 to 15 inches. These are extension adjustment ranges, not the total lifting height of every jack. Match the extension to the exact Pro Eagle jack and its instructions; do not assume it fits another brand.
