Clunks, uneven height and binding can have several causes. Check the assembly against the exact kit instructions, confirm spring and retainer seating, and inspect hardware and clearances. Do not assume that every clunk means a missing spacer or correct binding by adding preload. Get the assembly inspected if the cause is unclear.
