The factory ECU is holding you back. Polaris limits throttle position at various times as traction control, restricts rev limits, and caps speed. Do I really need 91 octane?Yes, 91 octane minimum is required. The optimized timing curves require higher octane fuel to prevent detonation.
Which tune should I use?Start with Level 0 (Improved Stock) if your Ranger is stock. Use Level 1 if you have a full exhaust system and removed restrictor plate.
What does "locked throttle-by-wire" mean?The factory ECU limits your throttle position at various times as traction control. Locking it gives you full throttle access at all times for maximum acceleration.
