RGB and RGBW whip lights can both create color effects, but they are not the same. RGBW lighting adds a dedicated white channel instead of relying only on red, green and blue LEDs to create a white-looking color.
Why dedicated white light matters
A dedicated white channel can produce a cleaner white appearance than a color-mixed RGB setup. It also gives riders another useful lighting mode when they do not want a full color effect.
Color effects still matter
RGBW does not replace the color side of the whip. You still get the bright color combinations and animated effects riders want from a UTV lighting setup.
R1 Fatty Whips use RGBW LEDs
The Fatty Whips pair dense RGBW LEDs with a thick, clear housing so the light is visible around the whip body instead of only from one angle.
