Common questions
Is the winch already installed on the mount?
Yes. The winch and solenoid arrive mounted and prewired to the vehicle-specific plate. You still bolt the assembly to the RZR, connect power, and route the rocker switch.
Should I choose the 4,500- or 6,000-pound version?
The 4,500-pound version suits many typical Turbo R self-recovery situations. The 6,000-pound version provides more reserve for a four-seat machine, added accessories, larger tires, deep mud, steep terrain, or difficult pull angles.
Does it include synthetic rope?
Yes. Both winch sizes include 50 feet of synthetic rope.
Can I control it from outside the cab?
Yes. The kit includes a wireless remote with a manufacturer-rated range of up to 50 feet, along with the dash rocker switch. Maintain a safe position and clear view of the recovery.
Is it completely waterproof?
The manufacturer specifies waterproof seals and solenoid and describes the winch and harness as water-resistant. That supports off-road exposure, but it does not mean maintenance can be ignored after submersion, mud, or pressure washing.
What should a 2025+ Turbo R owner verify?
The current Ready-Fit listing states 2022+, while SuperATV’s standalone plate page still shows 2022–2024. Confirm the mount revision and exact model year before ordering.
Will it fit a RZR Pro R?
This listing is verified for the 2022+ RZR Turbo R and Turbo R 4 only. Use the application specifically listed for a Pro R rather than assuming the mounts interchange.
Will it work with my aftermarket bumper?
Compatibility depends on whether the bumper or its brackets occupy the same mounting space. Verify the complete bumper and winch-mount combination before ordering.
Does the synthetic rope require maintenance?
Yes. Inspect it for cuts, abrasion, heat damage, contamination, and poor spooling. Clean and dry it after dirty or wet recoveries, then respool it evenly under light tension.
Can I use it as a hoist?
No. A vehicle-recovery winch should not be used to lift or suspend people or overhead loads.
