Do I actually need the 5th point?
If you’re on aggressive terrain, hitting jumps, or running hard whoops — yes. The anti-submarine strap prevents you from sliding forward under the lap belt on hard stops. For casual trail riding, the 2” 4-Point is sufficient.
Latch & link or push button?
This harness uses latch & link — a deliberate pull-to-release cam-lock buckle that won’t open under load. If you prefer push button, see the Push Button 4-Point harness.
Will it trigger my UTV’s seatbelt warning light?
Possibly. A seat belt bypass plug eliminates the warning light on Polaris RZR and Can-Am models.
