Polaris Pro R Crankcase Breather Kit
TPR's breather kit will eliminate oil consumption and give you a cleaner intake charge. Our breather kits are designed to not hold oil, only catch water and fuel vapors that can be drained off.
Polaris 4cyl Pro R engines utilize a CVT clutch like their predecessor, this means they see high revs for long durations. High sustained RPM generates excessive crankcase blowby. The factory crankcase breather system is designed as a closed system sucking all crankcase contaminants and oil back into the intake plenum. A quick inspection of your intake plenum you’ll see how much oil is being drafted and ingested into your intake charge. This can be done by removing your intake tube and pushing the throttle blade open with your fingers and looking in with a flashlight.
We offer 3 breather kits depending on your application, Naturally aspirated, turbocharged and universal kit for race builds.
Universal kits are Raw finish and will not include any hoses or mounting brackets.
