R1 Industries carries products from many off-road manufacturers. Some products ship from our Utah operation, while others ship directly from an approved manufacturer or distribution partner. This page explains what that means for your order.
How an R1 Industries Order Is Fulfilled
An order confirmation means your order was successfully submitted. It does not necessarily mean every item has already been packaged or shipped.
Because R1 sells products from many brands, the fulfillment process can vary by product. Some items are handled by R1, while others are sent to an approved manufacturer or distribution partner for direct fulfillment.
Order Confirmation
You receive confirmation showing the products, shipping address and payment information associated with the order.
Order Review
The order is routed based on the product, brand, inventory source and applicable fulfillment location.
Processing
The item is prepared by R1 Industries or submitted to the applicable manufacturer or distribution partner.
Tracking Created
Tracking information is emailed after the package ships. Multiple shipments may create multiple tracking numbers.
Carrier Delivery
The shipping carrier transports the package to the address provided during checkout.
Understanding R1 Fulfillment Types
Your order may use one or more fulfillment methods depending on the products purchased.
R1-Branded Products
Many R1 Industries products are shipped using USPS Priority Mail and typically arrive within approximately 2–5 business days, depending on location. Supply-chain or inventory issues can create additional delays.
Direct From Manufacturer
Some vendor products are shipped directly by the manufacturer or distribution partner. These items often ship within approximately 2–5 business days, but delays are possible.
Roofs, Windshields and Oversized Items
Large products may require additional handling, packaging or freight coordination. They may also carry separate shipping charges and longer processing or transit times.
Split Shipments
Items from one order may ship from different locations. Receiving one package does not necessarily mean the entire order has been delivered.
Custom and Special-Order Products
Custom, made-to-order, powder-coated, configured or special-order products may require production time before they are ready to ship. The product page should be reviewed before ordering.
How Backorders Work
A backorder usually means the manufacturer or supplier expects additional inventory or is producing the product, but the item is not currently available for immediate shipment.
Any date shown on a product page is an estimate based on the best information available at that time. Estimated dates may change because of manufacturing, raw-material, freight, carrier or supplier delays.
An estimated backorder date is not a guaranteed delivery date. Once the product becomes available and ships, tracking information will be sent to the email associated with the order.
What Customers Should Know About Shipping
These are the most important details to understand before and after placing an order.
Processing Is Not Transit
Processing time is the time required to prepare an item for shipment. Transit time begins after the carrier receives the package.
Tracking Comes After Shipment
You will not receive carrier tracking until the item has been prepared for shipment and a tracking number has been created.
Orders May Arrive Separately
Products fulfilled from different locations may arrive on different days, even when purchased in the same checkout.
Dates Are Estimates
Processing, production, backorder and delivery dates may change. Weather, carriers, manufacturers and supply chains can affect timing.
Oversized Items Are Different
Roofs, enclosures, windshields, wheels, tires and other large products may have longer lead times or additional shipping charges.
Address Accuracy Matters
Review the shipping address before ordering. Additional shipping costs caused by an incorrect address may be the customer’s responsibility.
Contact Us Immediately
Orders can move into fulfillment or production quickly. Sending a cancellation request does not guarantee the order can still be stopped.
Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Packages
Contact R1 before installing, modifying, repairing, discarding or returning a product involved in a shipping issue.
Keep the Packaging
Do not throw away the shipping box, inserts, product labels or damaged packaging until the issue has been reviewed.
Take Clear Photos
Photograph the shipping box, shipping label, packaging, product label, damaged area and all items received.
Do Not Install the Product
Installing, modifying or attempting to repair an incorrect or damaged item may affect the available resolution.
Report Broken Glass Quickly
Windshields with broken glass must be reported within seven calendar days of delivery. Contact R1 before arranging repairs.

How long does R1 Industries take to ship?
Shipping and processing vary by product. Many R1-branded products are shipped using USPS Priority Mail and typically arrive within approximately 2–5 business days depending on location. Manufacturer-direct products often ship within approximately 2–5 business days, but large, custom and backordered products may take longer.
Why did I receive only part of my order?
Products in one order may ship from different locations, including R1 Industries, a manufacturer or a distribution partner. Each shipment may arrive separately and have its own tracking number.
When will I receive tracking information?
Tracking information is emailed after an item ships. If the order has multiple shipments, you may receive multiple tracking emails.
What does backordered mean?
Backordered means the product is not ready for immediate shipment but is expected to become available or be produced. Any date shown is an estimate and can change.
Are estimated shipping and backorder dates guaranteed?
No. Processing, production, backorder and delivery dates are estimates. Manufacturers, suppliers, freight carriers, weather and supply-chain conditions can affect timing.
Can I cancel a backordered order?
Contact R1 Industries immediately. Orders canceled before fulfillment are currently subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Orders that have shipped or entered production cannot be canceled. Custom or special-order products may also be non-returnable.
Why is my order shipping directly from another company?
R1 Industries works with established off-road manufacturers and distribution partners. Some products are shipped directly from those partners to reduce unnecessary handling and move the product toward the customer more efficiently.
Do oversized products ship free?
Not always. Oversized products such as enclosures and some wheels or tires may carry separate shipping charges. Available shipping charges are shown during the cart or checkout process.
What should I do if a windshield arrives broken?
Contact R1 Industries within seven calendar days of delivery. Keep the windshield and all packaging, take clear photos and do not arrange repairs before receiving instructions from R1.
